Adult Faith Formation
Facilitator for Small Faith Group:
Lead a small group of adults in reflecting upon faith and spirituality
topics. Groups meet throughout the week from October through
May.
Faith Formation for Children
Early Childhood Catechist:
3 year olds, 4 year olds, kindergarten sessions meet during the
8:45 a.m. Sunday liturgy from October to May.
Grade
1 to 6 Catechist: Sessions meets
on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. from October to February.
Leader of Liturgy of the Word With Children: Children meet during the 8:45 a.m. Sunday Liturgy
from October to May. Two or three monthly commitments .
Sacramental Ministry
Member of a Baptism Team:
Willing to meet with parents who are preparing for the Baptism
of a child.
RCIA
Sponsor: Willing to encourage
and support another adult as he/she completes initiation in the
Catholic community; Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Worship
Altar Server:
Assist celebrant at Sunday Eucharist one to two times a month,
as scheduled.
Choir: Sing for Sunday Eucharist
and special liturgical celebrations from September through May.
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Eucharistic
Minister: Distribute Eucharist
to the congregation one to two times a month, as scheduled on
weekends. Training is provided.
Greeter:
Greet and welcome parishioners
and visitors at church entrances one to two times a months, as
scheduled on Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings.
Instrumentalist: Accompany choir and assembly with flute, guitar,
keyboard, etc. at weekly and special liturgies. Rehearsals are
arranged according to schedules.
Lector: Proclaim the Word of God to the congregation,
weekdays and/or weekends. Training is provided.
Liturgical
Environment: Assist in preparing
the environment for Incarnation Season (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany)
and Paschal Season (Lent, Triduum, Easter). Time arranged.
Sacristan: Provide set-up and clean-up for Eucharist,
weekdays and/or weekends. Training is provided.
Usher:
Usher at Saturday evening or
Sunday morning liturgies.
