Families Moving Forward

Families Moving Forward is a faith-based organization of volunteers in the Minneapolis area that provides temporary housing, permanent affordable housing and supportive services to low-income families with children.  The program is supported by more than three dozen local congregations which provide space and volunteers to house guest families during the year.

Families Moving Forward is one of more than 80 similar organizations located in cities all over the United States, all following the "interfaith hospitality network" model created in New Jersey by Karen Olsen.
