Family Ministry

Family Ministry at St. William's includes a variety of Faith Formation programs, from Sunday School to preparation for Confirmation, for children ages 3 through 18 and their parents.

St. William's also provides a support ministry for couples and families.

Sunday School (3 year olds - Kindergarten)

Children meet weekly during the 8:45 a.m. liturgy (October through April).  The curriculum used is I Am Special by Our Sunday Visitor Press.  Students receive an activity book to use during class.

Family Catechesis (1st - 6th grade)

Parents meet with their children weekly.  Families will meet at the parish approximately twice monthly for peer group sessions (Adults, grades 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6) which will complement the alternate weeks of catechesis in the home.  Families are also encouraged to participate in two Family Service Projects organized through the parish.  The curriculum Finding God: Our Response to God's Gifts by Loyola Press will be used for all levels.

For 7th grade and older, see Youth Ministry and Confirmation preparation information.
