Eucharist and Reconciliation
The Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation are reflected upon in
faith
formation sessions at every grade level. However, immediate preparation is completed through
family participation in a parent-child or Godparent-child morning retreat and
several home activities during the spring. People may celebrate First
Eucharist as early as 2nd grade, and may celebrate First Reconciliation as
early as 5th grade. Older children and teens will be allowed special
accommodations and will be contacted by the coordinator if registered.

Examination of Conscience used for Communal Reconciliation.
Confirmation
The Rite of Confirmation is celebrated as early as the spring of 9th
grade. Those preparing for Confirmation participate in twice-monthly
sessions at the parish during the school year and meet with their sponsor
regularly. Participants also complete expectations for service, a retreat
and two written assignments.
Marriage Preparation
Couples are asked to call the parish at least six months prior to a proposed
wedding date. Clergy and parish volunteers provide
marriage preparation to engaged couples.
There are also various engaged retreat opportunities available.
Anointing of the Sick
In this Sacrament we pray that the sick be healed in body, in soul, and in
spirit. Persons who are seriously ill or injured are invited to call the
parish office to arrange for an anointing. Family members are encouraged
to be present.
