First Eucharist
The preparation process for First Eucharist consists of grade-level Faith
Formation sessions starting in September and completing sessions both at the
parish level and at home. Children must be in at least the 2nd Grade.
Preparation also includes attending a parent/child retreat scheduled in
March on a Saturday from 9-noon, completing 5 hours of service in the
community, attending Mass weekly, and attending the rehearsal in April.
The Sacrament will be celebrated as a group in early May.

First Reconciliation
The preparation process for First Reconciliation consists of
participating in the grade-level Faith Formation starting in September and
completing sessions both at the parish level and at home. Children must be
in at least the 5th Grade. Preparation also includes attending a
parent/child retreat scheduled in January on a Saturday from 9-noon,
completing 5 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly, and
attending the First Reconciliation Celebration in February.

Confirmation
The preparation process for Confirmation consists of having participated
in and completed the 7-8th Grade program, or the equivalent thereof,
starting in September and attending the twice monthly sessions at the
parish, and the required sessions at home with their sponsors. Youth must be
in at least the 9th Grade.
Preparation for Confirmation is held on the second and fourth Wednesdays
of the month, 6:30-7:30 p.m., from Sept. through April. There is a retreat
scheduled in December on a Saturday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. that is also a
part of the preparation. Completing 20 hours of service in the community,
attending Mass weekly, completing 2 home assignments with their sponsor, and
attending the Confirmation Rite in April are all a part of the process of
preparation for Confirmation.
Confirmation preparation calendar and registration forms include
optional social, recreational and service projects planned throughout the
year.
Marriage Preparation
Couples are asked to call the parish at least six months prior to a proposed
wedding date. Clergy and parish volunteers provide
marriage preparation to engaged couples.
There are also various engaged retreat opportunities available.
Anointing of the Sick
In this Sacrament we pray that the sick be healed in body, in soul, and in
spirit. Persons who are seriously ill or injured are invited to call the
parish office to arrange for an anointing. Family members are encouraged
to be present.
