7th-8th Grade Faith Formation
(Required before Enrollment in Confirmation)
Youth will meet at the parish approximately twice monthly during the school
year, on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, from
6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. The
children will meet at the church with their peers, and will also complete
expectations for service, a retreat, and a home assignment. The sessions will be
structured as large group and small group activities, discussions, prayer, skits
and other learning activities!
The content will alternate years between The Bible/Morality and the History
of the Church. 7th and 8th Graders will participate together. Materials include
a Bible for the 7th graders.
For those who would like to continue their family-based faith formation into
Jr. High, materials will be provided upon request.
Registration Forms and Calendars include optional social, recreational and
service projects planned throughout the year.

9th-12th Grade Faith Formation
(Confirmation for 9th-12th Graders)
The preparation process for Confirmation consists of having participated
in and completed the 7-8th Grade program, or the equivalent thereof,
starting in September and attending the twice monthly sessions at the
parish, and the required sessions at home with their sponsors. Youth must be
in at least the 9th Grade.
Preparation for Confirmation is held on the second and fourth Wednesdays
of the month, 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m., from Sept. through April. There is a retreat
scheduled in December on a Saturday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. that is also a
part of the preparation. Completing 20 hours of service in the community,
attending Mass weekly, completing 2 home assignments with their sponsor, and
attending the Confirmation Rite in April are all a part of the process of
preparation for Confirmation.
Confirmation preparation calendar and registration forms include
optional social, recreational and service projects planned throughout the
year.
